33% surge in property prices since 2020 in top Indian cities: Anarock

The average price of residential real estate in major marketplaces in the top seven Indian cities has increased significantly over the past three years, driven by a robust demand for housing.

Anarock, a real estate consultancy, released research data showing that, out of all the major micro-markets, Gachibowli in Hyderabad had the biggest increase in average residential prices over the previous three years (October 2020-October 2023), rising by 33 per cent. Kondapur followed with a 31 per cent increase.
In Gachibowli, the average residential prices as of October 2023-end stand at approximately Rs 6,355 per sq. ft. In the corresponding period of 2020, average prices in this locality were Rs 4,790 per sq. ft.
