The Jamshedpur police have madea sensational revelation in the brutal murder of 19-year-old Ajay Basa alias Jhantu in Garabasa under Golmuri police station.

Police have arrested the prime accused, Sandeep, alongwith four others in connection with the case.

During initial interrogation, Sandeep confessed to the crime, stating that the killing was planned to gain "occult powers" through a black magic ritual. One of his key aides, Bharat, has also been arrested.

According to the police, Sandeep lured his friend Ajay to a rented room in Cable Town on Monday night on the pretext of a party.

Aftermaking him eat and drink, he rendered Ajay unconscious and locked him inside a large trunk purchased earlier that day.
