GENERAL SANTOS CITY - Cousins Kyle Nathan Kue and Al-Fhadrey Sabban made the Barangay Labangal Gym their personal playground as they found themselves in a tight duel for a weightlifting gold medal.
Turned out, it was not a huge surprise as the sport has been running on their blood with their grandfather being the former weightlifting national team member Reynerio Hipolito.
The cousins from City of Zamboanga finished 1-2 in the boys' 12-years-old age group as records were shattered both in swimming and athletics in the 2025 Batang Pinoy, Monday, Oct. 27 here.
