Kung natatandaan, si Lea ang naging first Asian actress na gumanap sa role na Eponine sa "Les Miz” in 1993 on Broadway at sa 10th anniversary concert in 1995.
In the 2006 Broadway revival, ginampanan niya ang role na Fantine.
Sa kanyang pagbabalik, the Tony Award-winning actress will portray the role of Madame Thénardier.
