Bacolod probes 'spoiled food' served on Employees' Day

This highly-urbanized city is investigating an allegation of spoiled food served during Employees’ Day on Friday, Dec. 19, following concerns aired by numerous employees, including department and office heads.
Mayor Greg Gasataya has directed all department and office heads to submit detailed written reports based on feedback from personnel and staff.
"Regrettably, there were reported concerns from several workers regarding allegedly spoiled food served during the event," he said. "Such reports are deeply troubling and warrant a thorough and immediate investigation."
