Ryots demand swift disbursal of dues for jowar

Alleging delay in payment for jowar procured by the government, farmers staged a sit-in protest in front of the Tahsildar office at Bazarhathnoor mandal centre on Tuesday, demanding immediate disbursal of dues.
The protesting farmers said the State government had procured jowar from them several months ago but had not paid for it yet.
