Safa Cape Town unveils plan to transport young soccer players to and from fields

The South African Football Association (SAFA) Cape Town in collaboration with the provincial government, mobile network MTN South Africa and bus company Golden Arrow, have launched a programme to transport young soccer players safely and for free to the fields and back.

The youngsters will also be provided with data bundles to access their educational needs.

The deal will see Golden Arrow pick children up from designated bus stops and transport them to various sport complexes, ensuring that they are safe.

It also aims to provide 1 200 children with pre-loaded smart cards enabling them to access scheduled Golden Arrow buses to attend matches.
