Former Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has claimed that a decent cup run could be 'massive' for the club this season.

The Black Cats are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup for just the second time in a decade, and have been rewarded for their efforts with an away trip to Championship strugglers Oxford United next month.
For his part, Poyet was in charge on Wearside when the club made it to the final of the League Cup back in 2014, beating the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United on their way to Wembley.
