Healthy tips while taking holidays at home and abroad

Let’s imagine it’s summertime for a few moments. It’s the time of year when the British do one of the most illogical (even unhealthy) things possible and that’s go on holiday.

Why illogical and unhealthy? After months of moaning about dark, cold and damp winter days, we finally get long, light evenings — yet head straight for airports bound for places that, surprisingly, often have less daylight than the UK at this time of year.

That said, travelling abroad has always held real appeal for me.

Not as an escape, but as an opportunity to learn, explore and gain a fresh perspective.

I travel for adventure, freedom and the chance to see life from a different angle.

Stepping outside my routine helps lift the monotony that creeps into everyone's life from time to time.
