'Agony' of choosing the six titles in running for this year's Booker

The finalists for this year's Booker Prize have been revealed after judges whittled down the 13-strong longlist to six that will compete for the literary award.

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker said she and the other judges of this year's prize had real agony deciding which novels to include on the shortlist and said taking part in the process has been a privilege.
"I can't even describe adequately what it feels like to have an author's book in your hand, sometimes a highly regarded, established author," she said.
