LEADERS Whitley Bay made it just one defeat in 12 league games with a home win against 10-man Northallerton Town.

All of the goals came after halftime for the frontrunners through Mackenzie Sharpe, Jake Forster and Kieren Aplin, as Jay Bates' men saw off a visiting side reduced to 10 by James Harwood’s red card six minutes after the restart.

Elliott Beddow kept Guisborough Town in second place with two goals in the final 13 minutes in their 2-0 victory against Newcastle Benfield and Shildon romped to a 5-0 home win against Whickham.
