United's new No.1 has given team a massive mood lift...he could be the man to spark a revival in confidence
SENNE LAMMENS has boosted the confidence of the Manchester United dressing room after just one match, according to old boy Wes Brown.
Despite being just 23, the Belgian managed to rise to the pressure against Sunderland. He was competent and made a couple of decent saves to ensure it was a relatively relaxed afternoon for the United defence and their fans.
Speaking to 10bet Casino, Brown believes that Lammens, after just one match, has already impacted the Red Devils' dressing room for the better.
The former United defender said: "There were a couple of positive things. First of all, and maybe the most important, was Senne Lammens, the goalkeeper.
"He gave a very confident display, and I think that gives encouragement to the rest of the team. We had more consistency, and what I mean by that is the defence was solid, and the keeper was solid.
"We were creating chances, and obviously we got two goals out of that. And you just want to see smiles on faces.
"When you're playing football, when you're scoring goals, defending well, it gives you a big smile.
