RAHM CALLS A FOUL OVER LOWRY'S PEN

JON RAHM claimed golfing officials are getting the rules wrong after his playing partner Shane Lowry took a two-shot penalty during his second round.

The 2019 champion got the penalty after the R&A claimed a video review showed he had caused his ball to move in the rough during a practice swing.

Lowry said: “I told them I didn’t see the ball move," but accepted the call as he did not want to be called a “cheat”.

The Irishman was feeling sick during his third round 74 after catching a virus. But the Ryder Cup star was supported by his European teammate Rahm.
