Author's claim in email to Epstein denied by secretary

DONALD Trump allegedly told friends he was "banging" a 28-year-old assistant, an author claimed to Jeffrey Epstein.

Writer Michael Wolff made the claim in a draft of a portion of a book, which he shared with the paedophile financier in a 2019 email.

Madeleine Westerhout, who was named as the assistant, said the claims in Wolff's email were "absurd" and "unhinged from reality".

The email was one of 23,000 documents released by Congress on Wednesday.

In the finished chapter in Mr Wolff's 2019 book Siege, he removes the name of the aide in question.
