Long Covid has caused my weight to go up and down

The I Think Were Alone Now singer is targeted by body shamers trying to drag her down for gaining weight.

But the 54-year-old, who has battled chronic fatigue from long Covid, has no time for these cruel critics.

She says: ‐I have a limit and it gives me great pleasure to delete them. Goodbye. Why bother to be toxic?

‐I have fluctuated with my weight quite a bit in the last couple of years because I have long Covid and I'm learning to deal with that.

‐Some days I just battle feeling well enough to go and work out, which is not the norm for me‐

Nearly 40 years since her hit song took the world by storm, the US singer is still working and touring and divides her time between her homes in Hampshire and Nashville.
