Gallstones agony led to change of heart for star

GEMMA Collins has started cutting down on weight-loss drug Mounjaro after an attack of gallstones.

The Towie star, 44, dropped from a size 26 to size 20 and lost three and a half stone since starting the injections a year ago.

But in August, she fell to the floor in excruciating pain while celebrating fiance Rami Hawash's birthday.

A scan revealed she was suffering from gallstones, which have been linked to Mounjaro use, although Gemma says this is not the case with her. Nonetheless, she said: "I've given it a rest and I've really been managing what I've been eating.

"But I think I'm going to start microdosing because I feel you don't get all the [side-]effects."

Mounjaro manufacturer Eli Lilly said anyone experiencing side-effects with any medication should contact their doctor.

Gemma has hailed the weekly injections - which suppress the user's appetite as life-changing.

She said: "I'm never going to look stick thin. I don't want to look stick thin. It's not who I am.
