As actress and style icon Elizabeth Hurley approaches her 60th birthday, she's embarking on a new era of love with singer Billy Ray Cyrus

'Billy Ray should be in England for my birthday'

As Elizabeth Hurley approaches her 60th birthday, there’s no doubt that the quintessentially British star has made her mark on the world of showbusiness.

Whether it’s appearing in the hugely popular Austin Powers movies, rocking the red carpet in 1994 wearing that safety-pin Versace dress or showcasing her many sizzling bikini shots on Instagram, the model and actress is a household name.

Elizabeth hasn’t had quite the same luck when it comes to romance, though, with a famously turbulent relationship history. However, as she gears up to celebrate her milestone birthday on 10 June, it seems she might have finally found Mr Right.

Announcing her relationship with country music legend Billy Ray Cyrus, 63, in April, Elizabeth, appears to be smitten with the Achy Breaky Heart singer. The pair surprised fans by sharing a loved-up picture on social media over Easter weekend, and have been by each other's sides ever since.

Confirming she would be ringing in her special day with Billy Ray, Basingstoke-born Elizabeth revealed that her beau, from Kentucky, would be taking a trip across the pond for the occasion.

"I am looking forward to celebrating with Billy Ray," she says. "He should be in England for my birthday. He’ll be meeting my family - and my dogs - and, hopefully, it’ll be lovely."

As a proud mum to four dogs, that’s plenty of quality checks for Billy Ray to go through during his trip to the UK, but one family member he appears to already have the seal of approval from is Elizabeth's model son, Damian.
