WASTE BOSS IN COURT PICS RAP

Waste disposal firm owner Garry Pettigrew, 58, took photos of health service boss Fiona Daly and bank executive John MacKintosh ahead of a hearing at Hamilton Sheriff Court in April last year.

Both were due to give evidence in an action, brought by the UK Government's Secretary of State for Business and Trade, seeking to disqualify Pettigrew as a company director.

He took photos on his mobile which later appeared on the X account of his former Healthcare Environmental Services firm and were then reposted on his personal X account.

The tweets also carried and attracted derogatory comments about Daly.

NHS lawyers wrote to Pettigrew demanding he stop publishing the photos and delete the posts.

However, he denied being responsible.
