SIMON MURRAY insists Dundee’ bid to end their 37-year Celtic jinx is not a Mission Impossible.
The Dark Blues have had precious little home comfort against the Hoops since their last Dens Park win over the Glasgow giants away back in September, 1988.
Tommy Coyne was the Dundee hero that day with the only goal of the game.
Now, nearly four decades on, the chances of the home fans finally having a win to celebrate against Celtic look bleak, especially considering Steven Pressley’s side were thumped 4-0 by Aberdeen last time out.
However, talismanic striker Murray insists the dismal Dons defeat has sparked a determination within the Dundee dressing-room to be more streetwise and he hopes it pays off this lunchtime at Dens Park.
The Dark Blues skipper said: “It’s definitely not mission impossible.
“We know how hard it is to beat a team like Celtic, we would have to be at our best.
