ROBBY MCCRORIE is being backed for a Scotland recall.

The former Rangers keeper has been in inspired form for Danish side Esbjerg since joining them on loan from Kilmarnock.

And with Scotland boss Steve Clarke facing a crisis in the goalkeeping department due to a lack of first-team action for Angus Gunn, Craig Gordon, Liam Kelly and Zander Clark, McCrorie could return to the squad for this month’s World Cup qualifiers against Greece and Denmark.
