THE thing about having a sugar daddy is you need to keep them sweet or it will all turn sour.

Scottish football clubs have a habit of taking the sawn-off shotgun to their toes but Queen's Park's act of self-inflicted damage takes the biscuit.

The Spiders won the lottery when Willie Haughey jumped on board - but then they lost their ticket.

And if anything the club are now going to be in a far worse situation than when Glasgow money man came in.

Talk about a mess. Hey, for a while it seemed fun. Queen's Park went from a wee team with a rich history to a rich team with a promising future.

It even looked like they were going to get to the Premiership at one point.

Now? The club is likely to only go one way - and it's certainly not up after another defeat to Livingston yesterday left them in threat of the Championship drop.
