It's a dilemma for veteran Gordon .. he may have to leave high-flying Hearts to secure World Cup start for country
RAIG GORDON batted the question away with all the instincts that saw him deny Denmark's Rasmus Hojland with a huge right hand just an hour or so earlier.
The importance of that save just after the break has almost been lost amid the wonder goal hysteria of Tuesday's World Cup qualifying party against the Danes.
But it proved beyond doubt that the 42-year-old still deserves a place on the world stage.
Which brings us to that question - the last of a joyous few minutes the Hearts goalkeeper spent with the press pack after Scotland's place at the World Cup has been secured.
Having admitted he will do everything in his power to make sure he's on the plane to North America, Gordon was asked if that includes making a decision on his future in the January transfer window.
Given that he hasn't played a minute for Hearts this season it was a fair point. "I don't know," was Gordon's noncommittal reply.
"We'll enjoy tonight and have a look at that nearer the time."
