JOHN McGLYNN insists Falkirk are still “fine-tuning” for their Premiership campaign after firing four past Spartans.
A Calvin Miller double and strikes from Dylan Tait and Scott Arfield saw the Bairns top Group A and progress into the Premier Sports Cup knockout stages.
And Bairns boss McGlynn believes the comprehensive display against the League Two side was the perfect run-out ahead of their topflight curtain-raiser against Dundee United next Sunday.
He said: “We are still fine-tuning, working on that bit of intensity and we are ready to go. We want to continue the momentum we have been building.
