MARTIN RENNIE and Ross MacLean both netted twice to send Forfar to the top after a 4-2 home win over Stirling Albion.
The Binos went ahead through Jack Harkness but two Rennie goals in four minutes, a penalty then a header, had Forfar ahead.
Jim Weir's side stretched their advantage when MacLean volleyed home but were pegged back when former Forfar striker Russell McLean scored from close range before MacLean tapped in Angus Mailer's pass to seal victory.
