MAN OF THE SCOUSE

ARNE SLOT could be crowned an honorary Scouser today - but the Dutchman admits it might take him 10 years to feel like the real thing.

Slot will become only the fifth foreign manager to win the Premier League in his first season in England if Liverpool take a point from their clash with Tottenham.

And the Kop fans are preparing to hail him as one of their own in Anfield's first public title coronation for 35 years.

Slot insists he has been touched by the way the city's fanatical supporters have taken him to their hearts.

But he reckons it's going to take him longer to feel the same way as legends such as Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Kenny Dalglish and Jurgen Klopp. The Dutchman, who can emulate Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Manuel Pellegrini and Antonio Conte by lifting the title in his debut season, said: "When you start to work here, quite quickly you get a certain feeling.

"But it's not true that I have the same feeling as someone who has been here forever.
