It takes chew to mango for our ice dream

IT'S lucky we've had a heatwave recently as it's also when we can celebrate National Ice Cream Month.

Although it’s hardly surprising it should be in the summer here, it was actually started in the States back in 1984 by then-president Ronald Reagan.

In our house, we celebrate it all-year round and always have lovely shop-bought stuff in the freezer.

My favourite recently was a blackcurrant ripple from Sainsbury's.
