IT LOOKED like we were in for a wet June for a while but here we are again with heatwave and water warnings.

And that means stocking up yet again on salads, plastic picnic jugs and ice packs.
In the Scrumptious house, ice cream is eaten all year round, not just in hot weather.
I've always shied away from buying an ice cream maker because we would just end up making and eating it all the time.
You can also buy some pretty good local ice cream here - Mackies from Aberdeen or my own favourite, Equi's based near Rutherglen.
