DOC: I'M COUNTING ON US IMPROVING

TONY DOCHERTY last night warned Ross County's “fragile” players he won't tolerate the crazy lapses that led to defeat on his Dingwall debut.

The bottom-of-the-table Staggies crashed to defeat through Aaron Muirhead's late penalty-kick winner after new skipper Declan Gallacher hauled down Jacob MacIntyre in the box.

County, through an incident-packed second period, had wiped out Nikolay Todorov’s first-half opener with a penalty of their own, stuck away by Kieran Phillips.

Docherty’s men hit the woodwork, were denied by an Aidan McAdams wonder save and had two goals disallowed - one controversially - as they hammered forward in search of a winner.

Defeat from the sucker-punch had the Doc scratching his head.

County's new manager said: “I don't think it was a game we should lose.

“I knew coming in here they looked like a fragile group and it showed with the way we started the game. It is important we don't get over-analytical about it.
