Tasty Gers serve up an easy win as Rohl's men come to the boil

- FRASER WILSON AT RUGBY PARK

RANGERS head to the land of goulash on Euro duty.

But while their league hopes might still be in the soup Danny Rohl’s side did at least serve up something to warm their success-starved supporters.

Three points on a freezing night in Ayrshire. And with Bojan Miovski producing a double to put the chef's kiss on a solid night's work.

The North Macedonian scored either side of the break to double his tally from his first 19 games, a run that had left a huge question mark over the ex-Aberdeen frontman’s head.

Rohl will be hoping this performance can get the 26-year-old cooking.

Not just that but the sight of Mikey Moore climbing off the bench after injury to put the gloss on the win with another classy finish will have Gers fans believing maybe their side could be about to come to the boil too.

Rangers move level in third spot, six points off the leaders.

For Killie though it's now nine without a win. Yet they could easily have gone ahead here.

Towering Marcus Dackers got above Jayden Meghoma to head Scott Tiffoney’s cross just over after 12 minutes.

Connor Barron then got back to clear Bruce Anderson's effort off the line after the striker dinked onrushing Jack Butland with the Gers backline all at sea.

But out of nowhere Miovski prodded Rangers ahead in the 33rd minute.

He opted not to shoot moments earlier but after Mo Diomande had worked the ball back into a congested box Miovski caught Tobi Oluwayemi unsighted as he poked into the bottom corner.

Rangers doubled their lead on 54 minutes. Nico Raskin drove in off the left and slotted a perfect ball into Miovski who took one touch inside and wrong footed Oluwayemi.
