Star's 'poignant' moment filming 40th anniversary show
EASTENDERS hardman Ross Kemp has spoken of his emotional return to Albert Square to mark the soap's 40th anniversary - without great mate "Bar".
Now a Bafta award-winning documentary presenter, with hits like Ross Kemp in Afghanistan and Ross Kemp Extreme World, he returned for the storyline that saw the Queen Vic, where Barbara Windsor had ruled as his screen mum Peggy Mitchell, burnt down.
He said: "It was very emotional to be back there without Bar."
