Arken can cruise to victory at Hamilton
Sunday Mail
|September 21, 2025
ARKENSTAAR (4.13) can shine brightly for punters on another cracking card at Hamilton this afternoon.
-
There's a nice mix of action with plenty of punters hauling themselves from Ayr after the spectacular Gold Cup meeting.
Naturally, it’s not quite as classy in terms of quality in Lanarkshire, but it's competitive enough as the season starts to draw to a close at the venue.
If there's one horse that doesn't like to see the gates of Hamilton closing for the winter, it is Arkenstaar, who really relishes the course.
Michael Dods’ charge has won six times at the track and there's plenty of reason to suggest that a seventh success is on the cards this afternoon.
The five-year-old brought up the half dozen just over a fortnight ago despite making a mess of the start.
He was way too strong at the end and Connor Beasley can steer him home again.
JAMINOZ (5.13) scored on the same card as Arkenstaar and is another who is looking to repeat the dose for the Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore combination.
