Warehouse leasing giant seeks more space to grow

TRITAX plays a key role in the UK’s logistics network, providing large, modern warehouses that help big names like Amazon and Tesco keep goods moving fast.

These “Big Box” spaces are essential for smooth delivery and Tritax rents them out across the UK. The company’s been growing steadily by adding new properties and snapping up businesses that fit well with what it already owns. Recently it set its sights on Warehouse REIT, which is expected to bring in around £0.8billion-worth of urban logistics assets. That’s on top of its already impressive £6.5bn portfolio.

Last year, Tritax bought UK Commercial Property REIT, adding more valuable urban sites and boosting its rental income and profits. But not every property fits the plan.

So Tritax has been selling off the ones that don’t make sense, freeing up cash to focus on the better-performing ones.
