MIDDLESBROUGH came from behind to maintain their unbeaten start to the Championship season.

- BY CRAIG JOHNS

MIDDLESBROUGH came from behind to maintain their unbeaten start to the Championship season.

Remaining top of the league with the hard-fought away point, Rob Edwards' side had been in arrears after Adam Armstrong's strike just after the hour.

But showing plenty of resolve, Boro equalised through substitute Kaly Sene (above) to take a point on the long journey back to Teesside.

Edwards (below) said: "It was really difficult game. Southampton are a really good team. They're in a false position at the moment and they've got a lot of good players."
