THERE were fireworks in this fixture last season when Harry Wilson scored two stoppage-time goals to win it for Fulham.

And the home fans were singing “he’s done it again” when the first half here followed a similar script.

Michael Kayode tested Fulham early on with a series of trademark long throws, one of which almost crept through Bernd Leno's legs.

But despite the Cottagers dominating after that, a blind pass across his own goal from Josh King gifted Brentford the breakthrough.

King held his head in his hands as he realised his mistake, which was punished when Damsgaard picked his spot and fired home.

But Alex Iwobi saved his bacon by pouncing on a goalmouth scramble to score through the legs of Nathan Collins with 38 minutes on the clock.
