Kate's praise for love of children

THE Princess of Wales will give thanks to all those helping babies and young children "feel safe, valued and loved" in a special Christmas message.

Kate hosted her Together At Christmas event at Westminster Abbey on December 8, welcoming her family and inspiring individuals in celebration of those supporting children and families.

It will be broadcast by ITV1 on December 24 as part of the Royal Carols: Together At Christmas special.

It will feature additional material including films emphasising the importance of early childhood and contributions from stars like Rio and Kate Ferdinand and Dame Sheila Hancock.

But before the carol service begins, the Princess will relay a personal message.

In it, she will say: "Christmas is a time when we come together and celebrate the birth of a newborn baby.
