Grace-Evangeline sets Royal Albert Hall Ablaze with her 'dinky' Proms premiere

A RISING composer who is setting the world of classical music alight says a Proms premiere for her latest work is "a night I will remember forever!" Award-winning Grace-Evangeline Mason's five-minute piece Ablaze The Moon began Tuesday's show at the Royal Albert Hall.
The musician described it as "a dinky concert opener from me".
And the event was even more special as it celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester where the young star graduated.
The Wolver-hamptonborn maestro went on to study at Oxford's Somerville College and completed a doctorate in composition at the Royal Academy of Music.
The 28-year-old was named as the "face to watch" for classical music in The Times 2020 Calendar of the Arts.
