Boris and Carrie welcome 'final gang member' Poppy

BORIS Johnson and his third wife Carrie celebrated the arrival of their fourth child with a giant salami pizza and a bottle of pina colada, as she promised their daughter will be the “final gang member”.

Proud Carrie, 37, made the surprise announcement on her Instagram page yesterday that Poppy Eliza Josephine Johnson was born on Wednesday.

In the sweet post, she and the former Prime Minister, 60, have revealed the baby girl's family nickname is Pops, or Pop Tart, and added: “We are all totally smitten.”

The couple have sons Wilfred, five, and Frank, one, and daughter Romy, three.

Other cute images showed Wilfred and Romy gazing at their new sibling as she lay asleep in a crib, and Romy cradling her much-wanted baby sister.

Another showed the proud and grinning dad holding his ninth and latest offspring, with the tot dressed in a knitted pink bonnet and cream top, in a hospital maternity room at University College London Hospital.
