Yoga Session organized on World Environment Day-2025 at GDC Bani

On the World Environment Day 2025, plantation drive conducted at GDC Bani by the Department of Environmental Science and NSS unit of the College in collaboration J&K Forest Department, Forest Range Bani. MLA Bani Dr Rameshwar Singh was the Chief Guest of the event and Prof.(Dr.) Manohar Lal, Principal GDC Bani was the Guest of Honour. Programme began with welcome address by Prof. Naseeb Bhagat, HOD Department of Environmental Science. In his address he has welcomed Chief guest MLA Bani Dr. Rameshwar Singh and the guest of honor Prof. (Dr.) Manohar Lal, worthy Principal of the college.

He has applauded the efforts of MLA Bani for the welfare of public and society. Bhagat urged the participants to adopt healthy and eco-friendly practices. MLA Bani kick started a plantation drive by planting a plant sapling in the august gathering of students a college staff and other officials from Forest department including Range Officer Vinay Anand. A saplings of Deodar (Cedrusdeodara) planted by MLA Bani. More than 80 plant saplings were planted by all present during the occasion.
