Summer Camp for children culminated at JU

Summer Camp for Children organized by the Department of Students Welfare University of Jammu culminated here today at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium with spectacular presentations by children. During the camp, children were imparted training of Theatre & Dance by the experts.

Prof. Sangita Gupta, Dean Planning & Development, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest at the occasion, she appreciated the endeavours of the Department of Students Welfare in shaping the personalities of children. Resource Persons of the workshop were Mr. Sumeet Sharma (Theatre) Mr. Sunny Mujju (Dance) & Mr. Nikhil Singh (Fine Arts).

In her address, Prof. Sangita Gupta praised the children and their trainers for presenting wonderful presentations. She also highlighted the importance of such activities which infuse confidence and creativity in children and they may take advantage of this in shaping their personalities. She complemented Dean Students Welfare for making the Campus culturally vibrant.
