Clean Plant Facility (CPF) is a controlled environment designed to prevent contamination during the production of goods, particularly in industries that deal with, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food production, and high-precision manufacturing.

These facilities are subject to strict regulations and standards to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and safety during the entire production process.

Clean plant facilities are built with stringent controls over environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, and particulate levels.

The aim is to minimize the risk of contamination from airborne particles, microbes, and even human contact. This is achieved by using advanced filtration systems, airlocks, and controlled access zones.

One of the most critical aspects of a CPF is the air quality. These facilities use specialized HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters or ULPA (Ultra-Low Penetration Air) filters to remove particles from the air. The filtration systems are designed to ensure that the air in the facility is free from dust, microbes, and other contaminants. Airflow is often directed from clean areas to less clean areas, maintaining a one-way flow to prevent the spread of contaminants.
