Wales youngsters suffer as England take their revenge

WALES saw their hopes of finishing fifth at this year’s World Rugby U20 Championship smashed at the hands of England.

Richard Whiffin's side were beaten 51-13.
Two Harri Wilde penalties saw Wales edge ahead in a promising first half, before a penalty nudged England in front shortly after Ollie Streeter and Nick Thomas were sent to the bin.
Streeter's yellow was later upgraded to 20-minute red and when Sion Davies bagged a converted score to put his side in front it looked as though Wales would take full advantage.
However, tries from Campbell Ridl and Archie McParland put England in front, and Wales failed to add to their tally as their opponents ran amok.
