Ramsey 'surprised' and 'disappointed' at exit from Mexico

FORMER Cardiff City star and Wales international Aaron Ramsey has directly addressed his Mexico exit for the first time, stating he was surprised and disappointed that his contract was terminated.

Ramsey had joined Pumas in Liga MX but only played six times for the Mexican side with injury curtailing his game-time.

He was also beset my personal anguish on the other side of the Atlantic, with his dog Halo disappearing, something the family described as “haunting”.

Ramsey (pictured below) and his family returned to Wales at the end of October and the former Arsenal player was recently working with Craig Bellamy's staff in an informal capacity at the Vale with the national team.
