Is shock Ramsey move to Mexico all that it seems as Cardiff fans point finger at hierarchy?

NEWS over the weekend involving Wales skipper Aaron Ramsey and a switch to Mexican side Pumas shocked not only Cardiff City fans but those on the other side of the Atlantic too.
The Press Association reported that Ramsey, 34, has agreed a move to the Guadalajara-based outfit and that he will not be taking over as Bluebirds boss.
Wales legend Ramsey had been heavily fancied by bookmakers and by many others as the man to succeed Omer Riza in the Cardiff City Stadium dugout, especially following the news Nathan Jones - another tipped for the job - had signed a new long-term deal with Charlton.
Cardiff now look to be returning to candidates previously under consideration, with Des Buckingham and Brian Barry-Murphy among them. The bookies are placing those two at the front of the pack, with a decision due imminently on what comes next.
Mind you, that has been said for weeks now, but either way, it appears Ramsey will not be taking charge of his boyhood club for their campaign in League One next season.
Barry-Murphy is also the evens favourite with BetVictor for the Plymouth Argyle job as things stand, with Buckingham third in the betting at 9/4. It’s believed an outcome is expected within 48 hours.
Cardiff City Supporters’ Trust issued a statement on Tuesday, pointing the finger at owner Vincent Tan and CEO Ken Choo for the ongoing saga.
