Eaton Anne can bounce back from disappointment

EATON Anne is given another chance to prove his worth in the Download The At The Races App Handicap Hurdle at Southwell.

The seven-year-old won twice last season and was a hot favourite to make a winning return here two and a half weeks ago, but could only finish a slightly lacklustre fourth.

That run may have blown away a few cobwebs though, and perhaps the step up to three miles for the first time since winning his point-to-point a couple of years ago will bring about some improvement.

Rated as high as 98 at one stage last year, the eight-year-old’s mark has dropped to 91 ahead of his latest assignment having lost his way at the back end of 2024.
