Drug-dealing 'boss' caught by phones

When officers raided Jason Jeffs’ home they found supplies of cocaine, cannabis, Valium and pregabalin - as well as his dealing partner Darren Fowler.

Sending both men to prison, a judge at Swansea Crown Court told them that when they decided to start dealing Class A drugs they would have known what kind of sentence awaited them if caught.

Ieuan Rees, prosecuting, told the court that in May this year police examined a series of phones belonging to known drug users in Swansea, and that the information gleaned from the devices led to the door of Jeffs in the Penlan area of the city.

He said police executed a search warrant at the property and found Jeffs and Fowler at the address along with 9g of cocaine, 32g of cannabis, more than 400 diazepam and pregabalin tablets, some £3,625 in cash and 2.7g of amphetamine in the kitchen microwave.
