PERRY Ng has emerged as an injury doubt for Cardiff City ahead of their game against Leyton Orient this weekend.

The Bluebirds are looking to bounce back from their second home defeat of the season, which they suffered against Burton Albion on Tuesday, as they welcome the London outfit to the Welsh capital this weekend.

However, in a fitness update ahead of the match, Barry-Murphy said Ng, who came off in the 1-0 loss, is looking doubtful for the game.

"Perry Ng came off with a hamstring worry," Barry-Murphy said. "He'll be assessed today. My instinct tells me he's a doubt for Saturday.

"Isaak Davies is fully fit. He'll train today. And Gabriel Osho will be assessed this afternoon.

"I can't be certain on him based on the fact that he hasn't trained this week, but hopefully trains some part this afternoon or maybe tomorrow."

Many supporters have been curious over the omission of Alex Robertson over the last week or so, given the head coach has stated the Australia international is fully fit.

He is yet to feature in a competitive match this season, with the 22-year-old having suffered an injury in the penultimate preseason game against Notts County.

Robertson is viewed by many as one of the more talented players within the squad and indeed fans are eager to see him flourish playing in a team with confidence and employing a style of play which would most certainly suit the midfielder's skillset.
