There'll be dragons up in the sky!
Somerset Guardian
|September 04, 2025
Giant dragons, Disney favourites and a host of quirky characters will be taking to the skies as Longleat reveals the full line-up for its Icons of the Sky spectacle.
-
The three-day event will return for its second year at the stately home from Friday, September 12, to Sunday, September 14, with daily mass hot air balloon launches, tethered displays and dramatic air shows above the historic Wiltshire estate.
Among the newcomers making their debut flight at Longleat are Oggy the Friendly Dragon - making only its third appearance in the UK - alongside Disney's Up, Funny Bunny and Tropsy the Baby Dino. They will be joined by returning crowd-pleasers including Slick the Dragon, Daisy the Cow, Scarlett the Macaw and Elii the Elephant.
