Passengers launch fight to keep 'vital' bus service

A petition has been launched to bring back a 'lifeline' bus service.
People living in Writhlington said they were feeling isolated following the withdrawal of the D2X bus service.
Routed from Frome via Radstock to Bath Bus station, this service was introduced as a temporary measure during the closure of the A36.
For several months, the D2X bus provided a reliable and frequent means of transportation, greatly facilitating access to essential services and appointments.
Writhlington Action Group has now helped residents launch a petition.
They said: "During its operation, the D2X bus became an integral part of daily life for many Writhlington residents.
