Things got off to a speedy start with the Crewkerne 10k, where Frome runner Daniel Thomson (MSEN) took to the starting line in the historic town and finished in 45mins 25secs.
At the AVR Westbury 5k, the second in the 2025 series of four races and race three in the Wiltshire Road Race League, Frome fielded a strong team with Alexander Fisher (MV40) finishing first in 18:05.
He was followed by Thomson in 20:24, Keith Vance (MV50) in 20:34 and Barrie Knight (MV70) who finished first in age category with 23:29. Jess Jones-Hutchings (FSEN) was next to finish in 24:09, followed by Ella Kempshall (FSEN) in 25:07 and Megan King (FSEN) in 25:17.
The following day, Thomson also raced in the third race of the Yeovilton 5k series. He crossed the line in 21:21, followed by Brett Sadler (MV70) in 24:52.
