King's Head proves a worthy winner of county's best pub in our readers' poll

EARLIER this year we asked our readers to vote for the pub they thought was the best in Lincolnshire, and hundreds of you voted for The King's Head in Navenby. It didn't take long for us to see why, as the pub is well known in the area for its steaks, which are all cooked on charcoal and wood.

The popular pub has recently launched its new summer menu, which includes a range of speciality steaks, seafood options and gastro pub classics with a South African twist.

The pub also does various deals throughout the week, so depending on what you fancy, you can also get a good deal by going on the right day.

For example, on Thursdays you can get up 20 per cent off a number of steak dishes and on Tuesdays selected mains are reduced to just £10 each. We went down to the business on a Thursday night, and had a drink in the pub half of the site before moving into the more formal restaurant side, although you can order meals in both areas.
